Gulzat had two heart surgeries to replace a heart valve in 2017 and 2020, and now she needs a pacemaker implant. This surgery is performed to correct heart rhythm abnormalities. After the pacemaker is installed, Gulzat will be able to return to her normal life.

Gulzat now suffers from pressure pains in her heart area, accompanied by shortness of breath, headaches, and dizziness.

In Kyrgyzstan, the surgery is performed on a fee basis, and is scheduled to take place at the Research Institute of Surgery in Bishkek. The family does not have enough money to pay for the surgery, as the family is low-income. They barely have enough money to live in the village.
