Aliyah is 5 years old. She has a delayed psycho-speech development with an autism spectrum disorder. She was growing and developing according to her age. At the age of four, her mother noticed changes in her daughter's behaviour. Aliyah became irritable, restless and tearful. The girl began to show aggression to others and self-aggression. Her vocabulary is limited and she understands spoken language on a mundane level. In order to reduce the symptoms of this disorder and aggression, Aliyah needs to take a rehabilitation course. Specialists will work with the child on an individual developmental programme. Early treatment of autism in children can improve the quality of life and functional independence of the child.
