Olloyor was born prematurely and spent the first two and a half months of his life in the NICU. At 5 months of age, an ophthalmologist looked at the boy's eyes and discovered retinal detachment due to retinopathy of prematurity, a dangerous disease of prematurity. This means almost total blindness.
In this case, only eye surgery can help. Surgery will prevent the eyes from being destroyed as an organ and if the outcome is favorable, it will return the retina, and thus the ability to see!
Due to the lack of doctors in Uzbekistan who can perform such surgery, the family will have to come to Russia, to St. Petersburg for treatment. But without Russian citizenship and an OMS policy, they will have to pay for the surgery. Olloyor's mother raises two children alone and is in a very difficult financial situation.
Olloyor grows up to be a very kind and inquisitive little boy. Let's help him to see together!
«О те, которые уверовали! Делайте пожертвования из того, чем Мы наделили вас, до наступления Дня, когда не будет ни торговли, ни дружбы, ни заступничества. А неверующие являются беззаконниками!» (Аль-Бакара, 254).
