Ayara was born 9 weeks prematurely. The baby was in a very serious condition and spent a month in the intensive care unit. During an examination by an ophthalmologist, Ayara was diagnosed with retinopathy of prematurity. This disease threatens retinal detachment and without treatment leads to complete blindness. The doctor said that Ayara needed to have surgery on her eyes as a matter of urgency. Usually several such operations are needed, one on each eye, because the necessary result - restoration of the eyes as an organ and the retina fitting - is achieved gradually. The first 2 stages are already behind Ayara. The surgeries were successful, the doctors are happy with the results. At the moment the little girl needs the third stage of surgery at the children's hospital in Saint-Petersburg. But all the treatment will have to be paid for by the citizens of CIS. Ayara is growing up in a family with many children, and her parents are raising two more children.
