Summer is ahead, which means the period of ticks and the diseases they carry. Piroplasmosis develops when an animal is bitten by an ixodid tick. The disease is severe and, if left untreated, can result in the death of the animal. The cat begins to refuse food, becomes lethargic and inactive. To prevent cases of infection and to live safely in a shelter outside the city, in the spring and summer periods, tick treatments are vital for animals. Piroplasmosis is especially terrible for babies and older dogs, who tolerate it very hard, and often the outcome of the disease is unfavorable. To protect the animal from such a serious disease as piroplasm, you just need to carry out the treatment on time during the warm period. Now the Nika Foundation is collecting drops that will protect 100 cats. Help us provide a safe, happy summer for our four-legged ones!
