Thanks to your support, Sofia underwent a rehabilitation course at the Galileo Center. The girl is recovering from several serious surgeries: removal of a brain stem tumor, implantation of special plates on the damaged vertebrae.
Under the control of LFC instructors, Sonia learned to keep her balance better when walking, her back muscles strengthened, and her shoulders became straighter. The classes were intensive, Sofia tried to do all the exercises, to consolidate the new skills.
"My daughter is using her left hand more actively. Classes with a neuropsychologist and a speech therapist help Sonia feel more confident, concentrate faster and cope with tasks. Sonia has had several sessions of speech massage to restore her swallowing functions. We are grateful for your help, thank you for helping Sonechka to recover from her difficult treatment. We could not have done it without you," says Natalya, Sofia's mother.
Parents are often left alone with the consequences after their children's difficult treatment. Thank you for helping them through the difficult path of recovery, giving children back simple joys, giving them a chance to return to normal life again.
