Yaroslavl shelter for homeless animals was paid for 5 months rent

The oldest Yaroslavl shelter for homeless animals "Vita" is more than 10 years old. More than 150 dogs live there. Since November 2022 it has been supervised by ANO "Fidelity". At that time there were a lot of problems. In 5 months we managed to find permanent employees for walking and taking care of the animals, to organize hot meals, to insulate the enclosures with polycarbonate. Volunteers regularly brought much-needed sawdust in sacks, took out dozens of trash cars, cleaned the sewers. In March we bought pills for the dogs against ticks for a month. Volunteers donated bowls, ammunition, heaters, make donations, and help with their work. Funds have been raised to purchase cabinets for the veterinary office. The most important changes for the dogs are frequent contact with people and regular walks. The pets really missed the attention, they became happier and happily welcome more and more guests. There is work ahead to rebuild the shelter so that the dogs will live in warmth and cleanliness. Now the shelter needs help in paying the rent on the land for 5 months.
