Thanks to you we bought food packages for lonely elderly people and organised charity events!

The We Are Near project is not only a help for lonely elderly people, but also a whole range of support aimed at improving their quality of life and creating a favourable environment for them. Within the framework of the project, volunteers of the Foundation visit lonely elderly people to measure their blood pressure, buy necessary medicines and groceries, clean the house and prepare meals. They create an atmosphere of care and attention around them. Elderly people receive not only concrete help, but also a feeling of warmth and participation, which is so important for their psychological well-being. Thanks to this collection, the Foundation purchased food packages for lonely elderly people. Also the employees of the Foundation together with volunteers and little helpers organised meetings and picnics for them. In addition to caring for their physical condition, it is also important to pay attention to the social adaptation of the elderly. Organising meetings and picnics allows them to feel part of society, make new friends and get support. Thank you to everyone who supported our project!
