It took a long time for Maftune to get a diagnosis. For two years she complained of intermittent headaches and pain in the joints of her legs, but tests and examinations by doctors yielded no results. When the girl's condition worsened and her fever rose, Maftuna was admitted to the children's hospital, where she was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Mother and daughter arrived in Moscow when Maftunah got worse. The girl was taken by an ambulance to the hospital, where they prescribed a staged treatment plan.

Her health indicators improved after the first stage, it means, that treatment is effective and it is necessary to continue. The family needs our help for the second stage, because they cannot afford the expensive and time-consuming treatment alone.

According to oncologists the girl has all chances to defeat cancer. She is goal-oriented, perky and knows what she wants. And her dream is to get well, finish school and become a doctor.
