Danya was born 11 weeks early - weak and sick. A day before his birth, his mother took the usual dose of drugs. He wasn’t able to breathe on his own only with the help of the ventilator. After some time, it became clear that he had problems with the gastrointestinal tract - his intestines were rotting, so the most of the organ had to be removed. After such operations, babies often suffer from short bowel syndrome. Due to the reduction of this organ, the food can’t be digested and absorbed. Over time, the intestines will grow a bit, but it is a long process. Several operations will allow to transplant a working small intestine and save baby's life. Doctors advised Danya to go for treatment to Moscow and they prescribed him a special nutrition. Danya’s mother refused such a plan and brought him to the orphanage. Danya is a bright and smiling baby. Despite his disease and the fact that he spends 8 hours a day on the drip, he is friendly and calm. The charity fund "Doroga zhizni" will bring Danya to Moscow for treatment. Probably, he will spend a lot of time here. All the time he will stay in the hospital our nanny will take care of him.
