7-year-old Dasha is smart and fashionista. She finishes the first grade with only fives, loves to dance and dress up. But all this is possible only because every morning for Dasha's mother begins with the dressing of her daughter, which can take a couple of hours.
The fact is that Dasha has epidermolysis bullosa, a severe genetic skin disease. Dasha's skin is so vulnerable that, if not for the dressings, she would be endlessly injured from almost any touch. In fact, dressings for a girl are a second skin, without which she cannot live.
Dressings not only protect Dasha from injuries, they allow existing wounds to be treated so that they heal without rough scars - after all, this is the way to serious complications of the underlying disease, such as finger fusion and joint deformity.
Ordinary bandages are not suitable for such a disease, you have to use special medical devices designed for burn patients. As long as we can help Dasha and her family with them, the girl lives without pain and can grow and develop like all other children.
Let's all help together!
