Thanks to you, the Foundation's veterinary office purchased scales for weighing homeless animals!

Cats and dogs arrive at the shelter in different states - some recover from living on the streets in a couple of weeks, while others take months to recover.

First of all, our paramedics weigh the animal to understand how dehydrated the animal is and to calculate the amount of food needed for the recovery period. In addition, the dosage of medications and the duration of their use directly depend on weight. Next, our employees weigh the animal once every 2 weeks to understand the dynamics and adjust food and treatment if necessary.

Thanks to your help, we were able to buy new scales! In addition, the supplier gave us a discount, so we plan to purchase a second scale with an additional payment from the fund.
