Eight-month-old Muhammad has a congenital heart defect. The disease was noticed when the baby had dark spots on his skin when he was one month old. Doctors immediately diagnosed and determined a treatment regimen.

The heart defect needed to be corrected by surgery. To date, Muhammad had his first surgery, but a second surgery is needed to normalize the function of the organ. The family lives modestly and cannot afford to cover the cost of treatment on their own.

The baby's condition is stable now, and he sees the doctor regularly. But the defect may lead to serious health problems in the future, so it is important to have the surgery in infancy.
