Today we would like to introduce you to our new ward, who is in urgent need of help for treatment. We were approached by Mirzomammad Abdumamad Aksakolovich Abdumumamadov, the father of Amin's 11-year-old son from Tajikistan.
The active boy, who studied well and went in for sports, won freestyle wrestling competitions, suddenly began to feel bad and lost strength. Parents sounded the alarm and began examining the child in early January 2019. Almost immediately doctors suspected leukemia. The family did not believe in the terrible diagnosis and took their son to Dushanbe for a bone marrow puncture. The result confirmed the worst suspicions - acute myelloblast leukemia.
On January 30, 2019, the family flew to Moscow, and already on February 3, the boy was hospitalized in Morozovsky hospital, where the diagnosis was fully confirmed. Since the family was from Tajikistan, treatment was paid for them and amounted to 3.5 million rubles. Most of the amount was paid by charity foundations. The child underwent five blocks of chemotherapy, after which he was able to go into remission. In August 2019 radiation and supportive therapy was recommended at the place of residence.
However, in November 2019 Amin became ill again, the fever rose. The section showed that it was a relapse. The cancer is back. The family came to Moscow again to the Morozovsky hospital, where chemotherapy was conducted again.
Today, the child needs a bone marrow transplant. The donor is a younger brother, he fits 70%. The amount for the operation is 2.4 million rubles, most of which has already been collected. We need to close the collection for 300,000 rubles to give the boy a chance to recover!
