Dima fell ill two years ago in April. Treatment began in St. Petersburg at the V. A. Almazov Medical Center, where doctors removed most of the tumour and conducted several courses of chemotherapy. And in the fall of 2020, Dima underwent proton beam therapy.

It was not possible to go into remission. But it turned out to stabilize the condition — the tumor stopped growing. Four courses of supportive chemotherapy and a year and a half of metronomic therapy helped.

Now Dima continues to struggle with the disease. He needs to undergo a special study — full-exome sequencing. It will help to choose the most suitable drug for anti-relapse therapy. However, this study is not paid for at the expense of the state budget. Therefore, the help of benefactors is required.
