Thanks to your help, three former orphanage residents will get help from a psychologist!

Daria and Konstantin adopted three children three years ago: Iraklik, age 6, and Mila and Mira, ages 4 and 3. The children had been living in a troubled family since birth. When their parents were deprived of parental rights, the children ended up in an orphanage, but stayed there less than a year. Daria and Konstantin drew in their imagination a picture of a happy family, but the children were very neglected which led to gaps in their development and had great health problems. They brought with them all the baggage of an orphan child: lying, stealing, aggression and a complete unwillingness to observe norms of behavior in society. When parents came to us for help, they were in complete despair. They were tormented by guilt that they were bad parents and could not cope, and at the same time felt pity for themselves. Foundation specialists scheduled individual and group sessions with a psychologist for the foster children and parents. Let's help foster children adapt despite a difficult start in life!
