Aruuka had surgery! Thank you!

Aruuke was born prematurely.

Unfortunately, the parents learned too late about the baby's diagnosis. After discharge from the hospital, the family knew nothing about the girl's disease. The diagnosis of retinopathy of prematurity degree 4 was made at two months.

Aruuka's parents were advised to come to St. Petersburg for surgery. After the parents arrived, they found out that retinopathy shifted to the 5th degree. The girl underwent surgery, but at the moment she needs a second one.

Parents gathered money for the first surgery themselves, but the family was strongly deprived of money and they had to turn to our foundation for help.
