Thanks to your help, little Jamila got the medicine she needed!

Jamila is a sociable, friendly, smiling girl. She is 5 years old. She makes contact easily and quickly, shows interest and is friendly to everyone. She likes to draw, play with dolls and collect puzzles. She likes to listen when someone reads to her. Six months ago Jamila was diagnosed with a very difficult diagnosis of rheumatoid polyarthritis. This is a progressive destructive inflammatory disease of the connective tissue, mainly affecting the joints. She had constant pain and stiffness in her joints. She recently had an operation to remove the accumulated fluid in the knee joint. This was because the large fluid was compressing the soft tissues and blood vessels, and was disrupting the supply to the joint, causing pain. After the operation, the doctors prescribed treatment in the form of subcutaneous injections of Adalimumab. This drug helps to reduce swelling in the joints, pain and restriction of movement. Adalimumab is an expensive medicine. Unfortunately the family cannot afford to buy it themselves. They need our support. Friends, support the collection!
