The pathogenesis of vascular malformations is complex and not fully understood. The disease is still one of the mysteries of modern medicine.

It is physiologically and emotionally uncomfortable for the girl. Her forearm has increased in size and her movements are severely restricted. There is also recurrent pain in the forearm. She has recently had another percutaneous sclerosisation of the phlebectasis. She will now have to travel to Moscow for further examinations.

Her family needs financial help with travel expenses, accommodation, and a postoperative compression stocking.
