Shuainat took intensive classes and learned new skills!

Shuainat is 6 years old, she was born prematurely. Since birth, the girl is very restless and tearful. At the age of 3, he was diagnosed with delayed speech development with elements of autism. Shuainat has a brother with the same diagnosis, they are twins. At the beginning of rehabilitation, the girl had a violation of the processing of proprioceptive information (awkwardness in movements, problems with motor planning, avoidance of exercises). Shuainat also had a weakness in the difference of tactile stimuli, manifested in the difficulties of localization and recognition of the nature of touching the body. During intensive classes, there have been changes, there are improvements in the processing of tactile information, the child has become better at moving, coordinating his actions. There are positive results in communication and interaction with the teacher. During the intensive classes, the skills of motor imitation improved, the girl began to follow certain instructions, as well as compare objects by category, pull vowel sounds and pronounce new words – the names of animals, clothes, dishes and household items. The speech therapist worked on the development of auditory perception, which helped to improve the understanding of reversed speech. Shuainat performed breathing exercises and the development of voice functions. The teacher paid special attention to the formation of imitative speech activity.
