“I would like to express my deep gratitude to the Kindred Club Foundation and everyone who helped my son. Thanks to you, Karim was able to get the necessary surgery. Doctors removed the child’s plates, which were installed last year when he was diagnosed with craniosynostosis and trigonocephaly. The two-hour operation took place on September 8 and was successful. The very next day, Karim was transferred from intensive care to a ward. We watched the child for a week, and on September 15 we went home. Now Karim feels well. The diagnosis left only scars. Now our main task is to develop our son, rehabilitate himself and get rid of the delay in psycho-speech development. But I believe that we will cope with this. Thank you again for lending a helping hand to my son and giving him the opportunity to be healthy!”

Karim needs skull surgery

Karim is 1 year old, the boy has trigonocephaly.

Karim needs an operation to remove the titanium plates. At two months, the parents noticed deformity of the baby's skull and turned to a neurosurgeon. Karim underwent computed tomography and was diagnosed with craniosynostosis, trigonocephaly. After the birth the metopic suture grew together too quickly. This is the suture that connects the two halves of the frontal bone. The skull began to deform, and the brain no longer had enough room to grow. If nothing is done, over time the child will have undevelopment, problems with hearing and vision will arise.

In 2022, Karim was placed with titanium plates to correct the deformity of the skull. But recently, according to the results of computed tomography, the doctors saw that it is time to remove the plates. The operation was scheduled for July, but, unfortunately, the family does not have money to pay for such a necessary treatment. Let's help the child together!
