Within a year Farid underwent surgery to remove the tumor and several courses of chemotherapy. The boy has neuroblastoma, a malignant tumor located in his chest. When Farid started coughing last year, none of his relatives could imagine that it was a symptom of a serious disease. The boy was engaged in sports since childhood, was fond of kickboxing, and dreamed of becoming a policeman. His parents went to the doctor, but they couldn't get a proper diagnosis right away. Precious time was lost, the disease progressed and was poorly treatable. The parents decided to take Farid from Azerbaijan to Moscow, it was the last hope for them to save their son. A month ago we opened a collection, Farid was able to pass examinations and the first stage of treatment. Now the boy needs our help again. Chemotherapy has to be continued to beat the disease.
