In September 2021, Kirill and Nadya experienced great happiness — their daughter Miroslava was born. Unfortunately, the baby faced health complications almost immediately, and Kirill and Nadya practically forgot about sleep for an entire year. Kirill simply ignored his constant fatigue and weakness until last autumn when he suddenly had a high fever. Frequent pains started, and he constantly had nosebleeds.

Kirill was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a form of blood cancer. Several rounds of chemotherapy helped him achieve remission, but due to a gene mutation, it is impossible to fully overcome the disease with medication alone. He needs a bone marrow transplant.
