Liana has a congenital iliac dislocation of the hip. Before coming to the Foundation, her right leg was shorter than her left leg, visibly limping and had to limit herself in movement. In spring 2019 the girl underwent the fourth operation in Yerevan to dismantle Elizarov's apparatus, which was installed during the third operation. Thanks to the performed operations, the girls' leg was able to be lengthened. Now Liana needs to undergo a year-long post-surgical rehabilitation course at the Rehabilitation and Diagnostic Center to mobilize the knee joint, activate and strengthen the muscles of stabilization, build the body in space taking into account anatomical positions and physiological norms. If the girl does not go through a rehabilitation course now, all the operations performed will be useless. This sum is impossible for the Gokoryan family, who has been treating her daughter for 6 years. We will give Liana a healthy future together, so that she can become a part of society and live a full life, not knowing about pain and not feeling discomfort.
