Kolya was born prematurely with some malformations: he was diagnosed Down syndrome and bowel obstruction. The first year of life he did not eat on his own and was underweighted.
February 2022 Kolya was brought for treatmentto Moscow. End of March 2022, he underwent the first operation and in June the second one. This year he has already been hospitalized twice for planned treatment at the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital.
Unfortunately, this is not the last hospitalization for Kolya. His treatment will be long.
From the very beginning during the treatment, the nanny of The foundation took care of Kolya and became for him a big support. In the beginning, she had to stay up at night, make sure that the drainage system and drips worked, and treated open wounds on his stomach. Finally Kolya learned to hold his head, to sit and stand at the support and to eat from a spoon. He is now a cheerful and active boy.
Anyway Kolya needs constant special treatment and care until he recovers completely and can finally return to his mother.
