Kolya is two years old, he was born a healthy child, but developmental problems began after a few months. When he was one year old, doctors at the hospital diagnosed him with Krabbe's disease. This is a hereditary pathology in which the exchange of necessary enzymes is disrupted, as a result, paralysis and a delay in intellectual development may develop.
Kolya understands everything well, but he always lies down and cannot hold his body on his own. In order for the child to maintain the position of the body properly, he needs a special body positioning cushion. These cushions are also the prevention of bedsores.
We specially order cushions for each child. In addition, we will sew them for children in the palliative ward to improve their quality of life. Now we have 11 children who need body positioning cushions.
