Thanks to you, children in the Ulyanovsk orphanage can safely move from bed to strollers without fear of falling!

There are 140 children in the children's home for the disabled in the Ulyanovsk region. Of these, 30 are children with severe multiple disabilities. Many of them are more than 10 years old. These are already heavy teenagers. In order for them to take a bath, the staff carries them to the shower room on their hands. Basically, they try to lift two people, but sometimes one woman has to carry a thirty-forty-kilogram child. Firstly, it is not safe, you can drop a person when lifting, and secondly, most often the staff are women of pre-retirement age and they cannot afford such weight. Therefore, water procedures for such children are rarely carried out. It's also not often that they go out with such children. Our organization is ready to bring them special equipment for moving and an occupational therapist who will teach them how to use it correctly. Thanks to this equipment and knowledge, the staff will be able to move recumbent, heavy-weight children without compromising their health and without the risk of dropping them on the floor.
