Tasya is 3.5 years old; due to cerebral palsy, she cannot perform the physical actions we are accustomed to: she cannot walk and has difficulty moving her arms. But thanks to regular exercise, Tasya is making great progress: she can reach and hold a ball in her hands, with the help of massage she learns to relax her muscles, and she can independently hold her body when sitting.
Tasya is an adopted child, she has three older brothers, and despite the age difference, they get along well with each other. Mom tenderly takes care of the children, and also manages to breed animals. Warm relationships in the family greatly contribute to Tasi’s development; parents take the child to classes with an aquatic rehabilitation specialist and practice on their own. But to select the right strollers and walkers, you need to consult a pediatric orthopedist.
Tasi’s family cannot financially afford an appointment with orthopedist Nikita Umarov from Kazan, one of the best specialists in Russia, like most of our patients. Therefore, we are organizing an appointment with a doctor for 16 of our children; some need to choose walkers or orthoses to support weak joints; others need to choose a special exercise program.
