Polina's first challenge awaited her immediately after the birth - her mother left her. Her grandmother tried to look after her granddaughter, but her strength was not enough and the girl ended up in an orphanage. Then because of the meningoencephalitis, Polina was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Her body was as if petrified, her muscles were always tense and sore, and she could not relax them. For this reason, the girl could move only sitting in a wheelchair. Polina is with us since last December. She has already two operations and several weeks in a plastic cast. Now the girl works daily in the rehabilitation centre "Galileo" and makes success in her treatment. During all the time of treatment and rehabilitation Polina is being supported and consoled by her nanny, who helps her a lot. Thanks to your support we were able to pay for a month of work of her nanny/ Thank you very much, dear toobers!

Polina is orphan. Polina’s mother left her after giving birth, and her grandmother sent the girl to an orphanage cause of not not being able to take care of her. Polina has cerebral palsy, and because of this, the girl was constantly suffering from pain in muscles. Last year Polina came to Moscow for treatment. Doctors believe that it is possible to put her on her feet. Polina has two operations and 6 weeks in a plaster cast behind and is now undergoing the rehabilitation at the Children's Hospital. Leg braces were ordered for her and she has already done her first steps. There is still a lot of work ahead. Polina has now rehabilitation at the Children's Hospital. She is wearing now leg braces due to it she is learning to walk. Polina is orpan. The only person she has close to her all this time is her nanny. Thanks to your support, we will be able to pay the work of Polina’s nanny who will take care of the girl while it is necessary.
