Doctor Rosa was able to take the first independent step!

Rosa always wanted to help people and therefore chose the profession of a doctor. Rosa has been working as a gastroenterologist for 30 years. But now Rose has turned from a doctor into a patient.

On May 28, Rosa went to her cottage for planting tomatoes. Her car went into a ditch and flipped over several times. During the accident, Rosa received compression fractures of the twelfth thoracic and first lumbar vertebra with damage to the spinal cord. Sensation in her legs disappeared.

Rosa began doing recovery exercises while still in intensive care. After discharge from the hospital, rehabilitation courses followed one after another. To pay for them, Rosa sold her beloved cottage. After the courses, Rosa can transfer herself into a wheelchair. Some sensation in her legs has returned. Rosa even took her first steps with a walker. Rose's tenacity is incredibly respectful. Rosa needs more rehabilitation courses - while her injuries are still “fresh” and her potential is high. But the family's resources are exhausted. Rosa dreams of getting back on her feet and visiting her beloved patients. She has dreams where she walks again. Let's help Rose make her dreams come true!
