Kanat has osteogenesis imperfecta. All his life this strong boy struggles with fragility, tries to be active and never gets discouraged. He often smiles, and his loved ones hardly remember the moments when he cried.
Kanat is a participant of the Mobile Rehabilitation Service project of the Fragile People Foundation. He regularly performs exercises selected by specialists, and this helps him to become more mobile and active. He knows that there is still a chance of "breaking", because with his disease neither drug therapy, nor regular training, nor surgery can guarantee complete absence of fractures. But Kanat takes one step at a time and confidently goes forward.
In order for Kanat to be able to stand firmly and confidently on his feet, and then start walking independently, he needs a verticalizer - a technical rehabilitation device that allows him to create a support after surgeries. The verticalizer is expensive, and the boy's family will not be able to pay for it from their own funds.
