You helped Anya and six other foster children receive psychological support

Seven-year-old Anya came into Svetlana’s family quite recently. All her life, the woman worked in a kindergarten and believed that raising a child wouldn't be difficult for her. However, the usual educational methods did not work: the girl refused talk, eat, break toys, as if expressing protest and I didn’t trust my adoptive mother. Then Svetlana turned to the foundation for help. The foundation's psychologist explained that the girl's behavior is the consequences of her first years, spent in an orphanage, and the betrayal of their blood mother. Girl's mother was deprived of parental rights when Anya was 3 years old, then she promised to take Anya home from the orphanage, but never came for her. Therefore, now Anya does not know how to trust and does not believe in the sincerity of Svetlana’s feelings. Now Anya needs sessions with a psychologist in order to put aside her protests, trust and accept the love of her adoptive mother.
