Vladislav is 13 years old; he and his twin brother Vadim have been diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Vladislav is not as strong as his brother, but thanks to regular exercises and joint gymnastics, he has learned to sit independently without support and can even stand on his feet for several minutes!
Vladislav’s intelligence is preserved; he is now being home-schooled with a school teacher. The boy speaks the Chuvash language perfectly, and is now successfully and quickly mastering Russian. Vladislav loves to play with educational toys and always looks forward to meetings with a play therapist. If a couple of years ago Vladislav could not raise his arms and hold objects, now he can comb his hair, eat lunch and even brush his teeth on his own.
Now Vladislav needs a new electric wheelchair to get around. The boy lacks communication and friends, and with a stroller it is much easier to walk and leave the house for fund events. Walking and changing places are necessary for Vladislav to develop his imagination and spatial thinking. In addition, the stroller will make caring for her son much easier for the mother.
The family does not have the financial ability to purchase a home stroller on their own, so we are announcing a fundraiser! Support Vadim, and together we can help him.
