Little Liana has had an extensive capillary malformation of the face since birth. Behind the complex diagnosis lies a vascular malformation that appeared on the girl’s face; it is also called a “wine stain.” Liana can be cured using laser surgery, however, according to the compulsory medical insurance, only one procedure per year is required, and to achieve a lasting result they should be carried out once every two months, and this is already paid. The cost of one laser coagulation procedure is 132,500 rubles.
And Liana’s mother, through the Life Line Foundation, decided to turn to you, dear philanthropists, with a request for help. Liana is six years old; the girl will soon go to school, where she may face rejection and bullying because of her illness. In addition, the success of treatment depends on age: the earlier laser therapy is started, the higher the child’s chances of becoming healthy faster.
Liana is a sociable and very kind girl. Most of all, she loves to dance national Chechen dances, and she also dreams of growing up and becoming a pediatrician, perhaps even a laser surgeon, to treat children - just as doctors are now treating her. Let's help Liana make her dream come true!
Liana needs to undergo another laser coagulation procedure to get rid of the vascular defect on her face and become a healthy and happy child.
