We got acquainted with the history of Dagestan and visited on an excursion the Naryn-Kala Citadel, the museum of culture and life of Ancient Derbent. We visited the “Crafts” workshop, where the variety of trades and crafts of the peoples of Dagestan is presented and were able not only to get acquainted, but also to touch the ancient craft professions of jewelry and leather. We were very worried about how the trip would go, whether our charges would survive the long journey. But everything worked out. Everyone enjoyed the trip, and most importantly, it will help the socialization and adaptation of special children. Thank you very much to the tubers for the unforgettable emotions of the Center’s wards!

4 families with special needs children are waiting for a trip to Dagestan

Winter holidays are coming soon and our students - children with disabilities - are looking forward to a study tour to Dagestan. We plan to visit Makhachkala and Izberbash. Children and their parents will visit these cities for the first time; they are really looking forward to this trip. We have already planned a program for our stay: excursions, museums and just walks along the city streets. Such trips are very important for our students - it has a positive effect on their development, psychological state and attitude towards themselves. Due to the health characteristics of children, the trip will be with parents and volunteers. An overnight stay will also be required for safety and comfort. We really hope for the help of tubers in raising funds for special children for their accommodation and visit to the museum.
