No one's ever ready for that. Over the past 24 hours, the world's media and social networks have been overflowing with horrific footage from the heart of Lebanon. A sunny day in Beirut has disfigured nothing that foreshadowed an explosion at the seaport. This man-made disaster instantly became a human... Dozens of deaths, hundreds of injured and maimed people, and thousands more frightened and traumatized people have found themselves in extremely difficult situations. There are not enough beds in hospitals and drugstores. A state of emergency has been declared in the city. However, you and I may be the reason to find a way out after all/ We are announcing an urgent gathering to provide humanitarian assistance to the residents of Beirut. We need all the help we can give! Let us support the Lebanese with decisive action. After all, people need people!
