Thanks to the support of donors, Safiya was able to undergo a rehabilitation course

Safiya has delayed psycho-verbal development. The girl does not understand the speech addressed to her, she has only two or three words in her vocabulary and is often aggressive.

Thanks to the help of donors Safiya underwent another course of rehabilitation therapy. After intensive therapy, the girl has made progress in her development. She has become a little better at understanding the speech addressed to her, her vocabulary has increased. Now she has a lot more words and can use them to communicate with others. In addition, Safia has learnt to cope with her bouts of aggression and to control her emotions.

Despite this success, Safia still needs specialised help and support. In addition to the specialised sessions, her parents are systematically working with her at home, supporting and caring for her well-being.
