Thanks to you, 12 families from the Belgorod region underwent rehabilitation in Kaliningrad!

“There are a lot of emotions, they are overwhelming. For our family, the trip was necessary and important, first of all, to get Nikita out... After being wounded on December 30, he never went outside. First in the hospital, then at home. This trip took me away from all my worries for a week. He never said that he was afraid to go out or go somewhere,” says one of the participants in the “Guest Rehabilitation” project.

Thanks to your help, 12 families with children with cancer flew to Kaliningrad from the Belgorod region in winter to recover from the traumatic experience of the December events.

The field trips took place on January 15-19 and February 5-10.

Tubers helped cover the costs of food and accommodation for guests, and pay for trips around the Kaliningrad region.

Volunteers from “I Believe in Miracles” organized a cultural and excursion program for Belgorod residents. The guests saw almost all the tourist places in the region: Kaliningrad, Svetlogorsk, Zelenogradsk, Curonian Spit, Pravdinsk, Zheleznodorozhny.

Volunteer psychologists also worked with Belgorod residents in group and individual consultations.

“The opportunity to forget for a while about what we have all been going through lately, and what we still have to go through next, is worth a lot,” another participant shares her impressions.

Families returned to their hometown rested, filled with resources to move on with their lives and fight for the child’s health.
