From the very morning our travelers set off on an exciting adventure. Traditionally, on the bus, the instructor spoke about the horses, their characteristics and habits. Upon arrival at the horse farm, the children enthusiastically explored the area and got to know the animals. For many, they became their first meeting with horses.
Some children were afraid to approach the horse. To free the children from the fear of these powerful animals, a short sleigh ride around the horse yard was organized. After this walk, the children were able to overcome their fear and begin hippotherapy classes. Children learned to maintain a balanced riding position, coordinate their movements and synchronize them.
At first Lenya didn’t even want to approach the animals, but at the end of the lesson he even decided to feed the horse by hand. After just one lesson, some parents noted improvements in the emotional state of their children!
Thank you very much to the tubers from the special children of our Center for supporting the collection!
