The Petomets Veterinary Center has given a new life to 250 street cats and dogs who come here almost every day with different stories in their past, but one dream for the future - to find a new home and a caring owner. Today the center is seeking support to raise funds to purchase vaccines against rabies and other dangerous diseases for its tail wards.
Vaccination is an integral part of caring for the health of pets. Vaccination allows them to be protected from dangerous infections. Rabies, parvovirus, adenovirus infections, leptospirosis - these are just a few of the many diseases that can lead to serious consequences and even death of the animal. In a shelter where many animals are crowded together, disease can spread quickly because cats and dogs are in contact with each other and become especially vulnerable to infections. That's why every animal coming to the "Pitomez" center undergoes obligatory vaccination with a complex preparation.
