Thanks to you, the necessary amount of money was raised for Armine's transplant. A suitable bone marrow donor was found in an international registry. Armine has already started preparing for the transplant, but unfortunately, the compatible donor refused to donate before the cell collection procedure. There are no other suitable donors in the international and Russian registry for Armine, so she cannot be transplanted yet. Now Armine is undergoing the necessary therapy and hopes that other treatment options will be found.
While the funds for transplantation are not needed for Armine, the collected donations were directed to the treatment of the Foundation's ward Vera. At the beginning of the year she was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukemia. The drug that best fights this disease cannot be obtained free of charge. Thanks to your support, we bought the necessary expensive medicine for Vera and she started to undergo treatment.
