One of the goals of the “Beautiful Far” foundation is to improve the quality of life of lonely old people in difficult financial situations by providing them with adequate nutrition. Unfortunately, in Novorossiysk a large number of pensioners need material and social support. To increase the volume of assistance, our foundation at the end of June 2024 opened a new social canteen intended for 40 elderly people with low incomes who are able to move independently around the city. The cook and his assistants prepare delicious lunches every weekday, and the wards receive them free of charge, according to the accounting system. With the funds raised, we purchased food for charity dinners for 10 people for a month, and also partially covered the cost of paying the cook. Thank you for your participation!

About the campaign

We will feed hot lunches to lonely elderly people in difficult life situations.

Our foundation has been feeding 79 lonely elderly people for over four years, but we want to feed more seniors. We are opening another social canteen to feed an additional 40 needy pensioners daily.

Lonely seniors have found themselves in a situation where they lack support from their relatives and, due to very low pensions and poor health, struggle to provide themselves with adequate nutrition.

Six days a week, our foundation staff will prepare balanced, nutritious meals in our canteen. And good nutrition can improve the quality and duration of life for each of us.

The new canteen will be exclusively for ambulatory pensioners, so it will be easily accessible and located closer to public places. We are confident that this project will not only feed the elderly but also provide them with the opportunity to socialize, which they so desperately need. This place will promote socialization, support an active lifestyle, and create pleasant memories.

The funds raised will go towards part of the salary for an experienced chef, without whom we cannot provide our seniors with delicious meals, and towards purchasing ingredients for preparing 250 free meals.

Let's help lonely elderly people!
