At birth, Munira was diagnosed with high cranial pressure. The brain tumor was discovered only at the age of four thanks to the results of magnetic resonance imaging. Munira's attending physician looked at the pictures and advised her to seek help from specialists from Russia: «They will help there». Last July, Munira and her mother flew from their native Tajikistan to St. Petersburg. She was examined here and passed the necessary tests. Doctors diagnosed her with neurofibromatosis, a brain tumor, and optic nerve glioma. Due to her illness, Munira's vision became worse. She is currently undergoing treatment at the N. P. Napalkov Cancer Center in St. Petersburg. However, all necessary medical procedures are paid for her. Munira does not have Russian citizenship, so she cannot get the necessary help for free.
