Five–year-old Ominahon is a mischievous and active girl. She loves to dance at any given opportunity: at home, while out on a walk, or even in the metro. Now Ominahon really wants to learn how to ride a scooter, but this idea had to be postponed while she is undergoing treatment. Beyond that, throughout the struggle with the disease, the girl's eyesight has deteriorated significantly.
In April 2022, Ominahon's family began to notice that it was difficult for her to keep her balance. She began to stagger while walking and fall over on her side while in a sitting position. And soon thereafter came the regular attacks of headache and vomiting.
With these symptoms, Ominahon underwent a complete examination at the hospital. Based on the results of the CT scan, doctors discovered that she had a brain tumor and hydrocephalus. After the diagnosis, it was decided to first of all stabilize the girl's condition: she was sent in for a surgery to install a bypass system to normalize the circulation of cerebrospinal fluid. Afterwards she underwent surgery to remove the tumor, courses of proton radiation therapy and chemotherapy. Now Ominahon is going to undergo a new course of chemotherapy, which her family needs our support to pay for.
Let's help this girl get closer to her dream – to return to a normal childhood and learn how to ride a scooter.
