200 lives saved: how we protected stray animals from leukemia

Over the 7 years of its existence, the “Loyal Heart” shelter has given new life to thousands of street cats and kittens, who come here almost every day with different stories in the past, but one dream in the future - to find a new home and a caring owner. Today the shelter is asking for support to raise funds to purchase vaccines against leukemia. Vaccination is an integral part of caring for the health of pets. Vaccination allows animals to be protected from leukemia, because it is a dangerous disease that can lead to serious complications and even death of the animal. In a shelter where many animals are kept in crowded conditions, the disease can spread quickly because the cats are in contact with each other and become especially vulnerable to leukemia. Therefore, every animal entering our shelter undergoes a mandatory two-time vaccination against leukemia. Currently, 300 animals need to be vaccinated at Devoted Heart. We are raising funds to purchase vaccines that will help protect the lives of animals. Healthy cats will find their home faster!
