Children undergoing cancer treatment received special patches to fix catheters

Children with cancer are constantly undergoing chemotherapy. The medicine enters the body through a catheter, which is held by special patches. Patches are self–adhesive bandages that have protective properties and securely fix the catheter. They also protect against infections, and any infection is very dangerous for children with reduced immunity. Unfortunately, patches are not included in the standard treatment regimen for CHI. In addition, they are quite expensive for the families of our young patients. Thanks to the tubers for helping children in the fight against cancer and in organizing more comfortable treatment.
