Daria has epidermolysis bullosa. People with this diagnosis are called "butterflies" because their skin is injured by any touch, hug, or slight friction of clothing. Dasha is raising two healthy babies. Like any mother, she wants to hug her children and take full care of them. All adult wards were born long before the Foundation was founded. Their parents had to cope with the disease, sometimes relying only on their own intuition. As a result, most of the adult wards developed complications that require constant monitoring and therapy. The Butterfly Children Foundation provides support to such patients. Adult "butterflies" from all over Russia undergo a comprehensive examination and receive the necessary treatment at the Federal State Budgetary Institution VTSERM named after A.M. Nikiforov of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in St. Petersburg, including operations to expand the esophagus and hand surgery. We are opening a collection so that adult wards of the foundation from all over Russia can come to the hospital and receive the necessary treatment. Together we will succeed!
