Let's together provide 6,000 people in need with food! The STOP Hunger program is designed to provide temporary food assistance to families in difficult life situations whose level of income is below the subsistence level. Basically, these are single mothers with two or more children, lonely old people who have lost the support of relatives, as well as people with disabilities.
The program's goal is to provide these families with basic food supplies while also helping them pay off debt incurred by nearby grocery stores.
As part of the program, monthly food distribution campaigns are held with the involvement of volunteers. The main principle of the STOP HUNGER program is that assistance is temporary in nature so as not to foster dependency. This means that assistance will be provided for a certain period of time, during which families will be able to restore their financial stability and support themselves.
