Ayara was born 9 weeks prematurely. The baby was in a very serious condition and spent a month in intensive care. At the ophthalmologist's examination Ayara was found to have retinopathy of prematurity. This disease threatens detachment of the retina and without treatment leads to complete blindness.

The doctor said that Ayara needed to undergo eye surgery as a matter of urgency. Usually, several such surgeries are needed, one on each eye in turn, because the necessary result - restoration of the eyes as an organ and adherence of the retina - is achieved gradually. Ayara has already completed the first 3 stages. The surgeries were successful, the doctors are satisfied with the result.

At the moment the little girl needs to have a second one at the children's hospital in St. Petersburg. But for CIS citizens all treatment will be paid.

Ayara grows up in a large family, besides her parents bring up two more children. The family lives very modestly and cannot pay for the necessary treatment for their youngest daughter. That is why they have asked for help.
