Due to your help Sasha has completed a rehabilitation course!

Sasha Antonova was born prematurely, at 31 weeks of pregnancy. And when the child was 10 months old, the parents took a genetic test. It showed that Sasha had SMA (spinal muscular atrophy). At 1 year and 3 months the baby received her first Nusinersen injection. And around the same time little Sasha suffered from severe pneumonia. Unfortunately, after the illness the girl experienced regression: swallowing disappeared, and the doctors decided to install a gastrostomy tube. The girl's frequent pneumonia and stays in hospitals and intensive care units weakened greatly Sasha's immunity: she could only move her hands. Now, after 11 injections of the drug as well as after rehabilitation courses, Sasha has become stronger, she has the strength to lift toys, move her legs and sit a little in a special chair. Rehabilitation courses help Sasha a lot, but the parents cannot pay for the next course themselves. Let's together help Sasha improve her quality of life and undergo the rehabilitation she needs!
